- পাসপোর্টের মেয়াদ কমপক্ষে ১২ মাস থাকতে হবে। ভিসা পেতে দেরি হলে যেন ভ্রমনে সমস্যা না হয়।
- কমপক্ষে দুটি ফাঁকা পৃষ্ঠা থাকতে হবে।
- পূর্বের সকল পাসপোর্ট থাকতে হবে।
- পাসপোর্টের দুটি ফটোকপি (ব্যক্তিগত ডেটা পৃষ্ঠা)।
- পূর্ববর্তী শেনজেন ভিসা এবং পূর্ববর্তী পাসপোর্টের একটি ফটোকপি (ব্যক্তিগত ডেটা পৃষ্ঠা)
- ভিসা আবেদনপত্র: ইংরেজি ভাষায় যথাযথভাবে আবেদনপত্রটি পূরণ করতে হবে এবং প্রিন্ট আউট করতে হবে এবং আবেদনকারীকে স্বাক্ষর করতে হবে। নাবালক সন্তানের ক্ষেত্রে ভিসার আবেদনপত্রে পিতামাতা উভয়ের স্বাক্ষর থাকতে হবে।
- ছবিঃ দুটি বায়োমেট্রিক পাসপোর্ট আকারের ছবি।
- আবেদনপত্রের উপরের ডানদিকে একটি ছবি আঠা দিয়ে লাগাতে হবে।
- অপর একটি ছবি অ্যাপ্লিকেশনের সাথে থাকবে।
- সাদা ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ড এবং বর্ডার ছাড়া রঙিন ছবি। সাইজঃ ৩.৫ সেমি x ৪.৫ সেমি।
- ছবিগুলি ৩ মাসের বেশি পুরানো হওয়া উচিত নয়।
- কান এবং ভ্রু অবশ্যই ছবিতে প্রদর্শিত হতে হবে।
- ফটোটি অবশ্যই আপনার মাথার ক্লোজ-আপ এবং আপনার কাঁধের উপর হতে হবে যাতে আপনার মুখ ফটোগ্রাফের ৭০-৮০% অংশ নেয়।

- অ্যাডভোকেটের জন্য বার কাউন্সিলের সনদপত্র।
- ছাত্রদের জন্যঃ
- স্টুডেন্ট আইডি কার্ডের ফটো কপি।
- ব্যবসায়িক ব্যক্তির জন্য:
- আর্থিক অবস্থার প্রমানপত্রঃ
- গত ছয় মাসের কোম্পানি বা ব্যক্তিগত ব্যাঙ্ক স্টেটমেন্ট। স্টেটমেন্টে ব্যাঙ্কের নাম, ব্যাঙ্ক টেলিফোন নম্বর স্পষ্টভাবে উল্লেখ থাকতে হবে।
- ব্যাংক সলভেন্সি সার্টিফিকেট।
- গত ছয় মাসের বেতন স্লিপ।
- যদি ট্রিপটি স্পনসর করা হয়,তাহলে স্পনসরের চিঠি এবং স্পনসরের গত ছয় মাসের ব্যাঙ্ক স্টেটমেন্ট সহ স্পনসরের ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্ট মুভমেন্ট, ব্যাঙ্ক স্ট্যাম্প সহ আসল, এবং স্পনসরের পাসপোর্টের কপি দিতে হবে।
- প্রযোজ্য হলে, রিয়েল এস্টেট সম্পত্তির একটি অনুলিপি (টাইটেল ডিড), ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্ট, এফডিআর, বিবাহের সনদপত্র, শিশুদের জন্ম সন্দপত্র (প্রাসঙ্গিক হলে, বা বাংলাদেশে সামাজিক বা আর্থিক সম্পর্কের অন্যান্য প্রমাণপত্র)
- রাউন্ড-ট্রিপ ফ্লাইট টিকিটের বুকিং রিজার্ভেশন: ফ্লাইট রিজার্ভেশনে আবেদনকারীর নাম (পাসপোর্টের মতোই) উল্লেখ করতে হবে।
- ভ্রমণ পরিকল্পনাঃ পরিকল্পিত ভ্রমণের বিবরণ সুন্দরভাবে উপস্থাপন করতে হবে। যদি বেশ কয়েকটি দেশ পরিদর্শন করতে চান। এই ভ্রমন পরিকল্পনায় আপনি কোথায় কোথায় থাকবেন, কত দিন থাকবেন এ সব কিছু উল্লেখ করতে হবে।
- আবাসনের প্রমাণপত্রঃ সেঞ্জেন দেশগুলিতে থাকার পুরো সময়কালের জন্য হোটেল রিজার্ভেশন কপি দিতে হবে। হোটেল রিজার্ভেশনে আবেদনকারীর নাম (পাসপোর্টের মতো) অবশ্যই উল্লেখ করতে হবে।
- ভ্রমণ স্বাস্থ্য বীমাঃ
- ভ্রমনে থাকার সমস্ত সময় অবশ্যই কভার করতে হবে।
- সেঞ্জেন এলাকার জন্য বৈধ এমন ইনস্যুরেন্স কম্পানি থেকে নিতে হবে।
- জরুরী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি বা প্রত্যাবাসন ব্যয়ের জন্য ন্যূনতম ইউরো ৩০,০০০ কভারেজ – স্ট্যাম্প এবং বীমা কোম্পানির স্বাক্ষর বাধ্যতামূলক।
- যদি কোনো বন্ধু বা আত্মীয় আপনাকে কোনো শেনজেন দেশে তাদের দেখার জন্য আমন্ত্রণ জানায়, তাহলে আপনাকে অবশ্যই আপনার আবেদনের সাথে নিম্নলিখিত নথিগুলি অন্তর্ভুক্ত করতে হবেঃ
- আমন্ত্রণপত্রঃ আপনাকে অবশ্যই একজন বন্ধু বা পরিবারের কাছ থেকে একটি আমন্ত্রণ পত্র জমা দিতে হবে যা আপনাকে তাদের সাথে দেখা করতে আমন্ত্রণ জানায়। আপনার হোস্ট বা আমন্ত্রণকারীকে অবশ্যই আপনার সম্পর্ক এবং পরিদর্শনের কারণগুলির বিবরণ দিয়ে চিঠি লিখতে হবে, তাদের অবশ্যই তাদের চিঠিতে স্বাক্ষর করতে হবে এবং সম্পূর্ণ নাম, ঠিকানা এবং যোগাযোগের তথ্য প্রদান করতে হবে। চিঠিতে, আপনার হোস্টকে অবশ্যই বলতে হবে যে তারা আপনার খরচগুলি কভার করবে।
- গ্যারান্টি ফর্মঃ কিছু দূতাবাস আপনাকে একটি পূরণ করা গ্যারান্টি ফর্ম জমা দিতে বলতে পারে যা দূতাবাস আপনাকে প্রদান করবে। আপনার হোস্টকে অবশ্যই ফর্মটি পূরণ করতে হবে, এটিতে স্বাক্ষর করতে হবে এবং এটি আপনাকে দিতে হবে যাতে আপনি বাকি নথির সাথে এটি জমা দিতে পারেন। দেশের উপর নির্ভর করে, আপনি ফর্মের বিভিন্ন নাম দেখতে পাবেন, যেমন “স্টেটমেন্ট অফ লাইবেলিটি”, “ডিক্লারেশন অফ কমিটমেন্ট” ইত্যাদি।
- আপনার হোস্টের পাসপোর্টঃ আপনার হোস্টকে অবশ্যই তাদের পাসপোর্ট নম্বর এবং প্রয়োজনে তাদের পাসপোর্টের কপি অন্তর্ভুক্ত করতে হবে।
- আপনার হোস্টের বসবাসের অনুমতির প্রমাণ (যদি প্রযোজ্য হয়)। আপনার হোস্ট যদি স্থায়ী বসবাসের অনুমতি নিয়ে শেনজেন এলাকায় থাকেন, তাহলে তাদের পারমিটের একটি কপি জমা দিতে হতে পারে।
- বাসস্থানের প্রমাণঃ আপনি যদি আপনার সফরের সময় আপনার হোস্টের সাথে থাকেন তবে কিছু দূতাবাস আপনার বাসস্থান যাচাই করার জন্য ভাড়া চুক্তি বা সম্পত্তির মালিকানার প্রমাণ জমা দিতে পারে।
- এফিডেভিট সাপোর্টঃ যদি ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্ট না থাকে বা এই ভ্রমণের সময় তাদের খরচ বহন করার জন্য পর্যাপ্ত তহবিল না থাকে তবে একজনকে অবশ্যই পরিদর্শনকারী বন্ধু বা আত্মীয়দের কাছে একটি “অফিসিয়াল এফিডেভিট সাপোর্ট” স্বাক্ষর করতে হবে। ভিসার জন্য আবেদন করার সময় আসল নথিটি সঙ্গে রাখতে হবে।
বিঃ দ্রঃ সংশ্লিষ্ট দূতাবাসের প্রয়োজনীয়তা অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজনীয় কগজপত্র পরিবর্তন হতে পারে।
Schengen Tourist Visa Checklist
- Application form. You must fill out the Schengen visa application form with all your information and required data.
- Passport (original plus a copy): You must provide your original Bangladeshi passport along with a copy of your passport, which must have a three-month validity period from the date you leave the Schengen area. Your passport must also contain two blank pages and have been issued in the last 10 years.
- Photographs: You must submit two identity photographs following the Schengen visa photo guidelines; the photos must have been taken in the last six months. Please note that the number of photographs changes depending on which country you apply for the Schengen visa.
- Two identical photos. Not older than six months.
- Photo size: 35x45mm.
- In color. No black and white
- The head should take 70-80% of the photo.
- Light colored background. Light grey is suggested. No patterns.
- The applicant should be looking straight at the camera.
- Neutral face expression. No smile and mouth closed
- Avoid uniforms or colors matching the background.
- Civil status certificate: Please provide civil status documents such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, family certificate, or death certificate (if applicable).
- Proof of accommodation: You must submit proof of hotel bookings or reservations.
- Round-trip Flight Itinerary: A booked flight reservation from Bangladesh to the EU and back. If you take any internal flights, you will have to include those tickets too
- Travel health insurance: You must also provide a travel health insurance certificate that meets the requirements of the Schengen travel insurance guidelines. You need medical coverage of EUR 30,000 (equivalent to ৳ 3,241,882.80 as of January 2023) for any unexpected illnesses or injuries.
- Proof of paid visa fee: You must also include the receipt proving you have paid the required visa fee; otherwise, your application will not be processed.
- Cover letter: You may also be required to submit a cover letter for your Schengen visa application in Bangladesh. The cover letter must contain information about why you are applying for a visa, what you plan to do during your stay, how long you will stay in the Schengen Area, etc.
- Copies of previous Schengen visas (if applicable). If you obtained a Schengen visa before applying for a new visa, you must submit copies of those previous permits.
- Birth certificate and proof of parental consent (if applicable): In cases where minors are applying for a Schengen visa, the application package must also contain their birth certificate and parental consent for travel if they travel alone or with only one parent/legal guardian. Please note that for minors, the application form must be signed by both parents/legal guardians (one is acceptable if extenuating circumstances apply).
- Proof of enough financial means. To obtain your Schengen visa, you must submit original copies of your bank account statements showing transactions in the last three to six months and the account balance or proof of regular income. Depending on your employment status, you also need to submit the following documents:
- If employed:
- An employment contract and certificate of annual leave from the employer.
- If self-employed/freelancer:
- Business license (if applicable).
- Business bank statements.
- If a student:
- Certificate of registration at University, school, or college.
- Your student ID card, a copy of the registration certificate from the faculty signed and stamped by the university, and your grades transcript.
- Evidence of financial stability of your parents.
- Proof of employment contract or proof of enough financial resources for your stay.
- If retired:
- Bank statement showing the pension received for the last six months.
- If employed:
- If a friend or relative is inviting you to visit them in any Schengen country, you must include the following documents with your application:
- Invitation letter: You must submit an invitation letter from a friend or family inviting you to visit them. Your host or inviter must write the letter detailing your relationship and the reasons for the visit; they must sign their letter and provide personal information, such as full name, address, and contact information. In the letter, your host must also state they will cover your expenses.
- Guarantee form. Some embassies may ask you to submit a filled-out guarantee form which the embassy will provide for you. Your host must fill out the form, sign it, and give it to you so you can submit it with the rest of the documents. Depending on the country, you’ll come across different names for the form, such as “statement of liability”, “declaration of commitment”, etc.
- Your host’s passport. Your host must also include their passport number and, if required, a copy of their passport.
- Proof of your host’s residence permit (if applicable). If your host lives in the Schengen Area with a permanent residence permit, they may be required to submit a copy of their permit.
- Proof of accommodation. If you’re staying with your host during your visit, some embassies may require them to submit proof of rental agreement or ownership of the property to verify your accommodation.
- Affidavit of Support: In case one does not have a bank account or does not own enough funds to be taking care of their expenses during this travel, one must ask the visiting friends or relatives to sign an “official affidavit of support” at the corresponding office in his/her place of residence. Make sure you carry the original document when applying for the visa.
- Travel Itinerary: The applicant’s description of their trip, the purpose of travelling, the time frame and all the personal date written down in a letter
