Arrival in Paro – Sightseeing Upon arrival at Paro Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, start your sightseeing with a visit to the picturesque Paro Valley and the ancient ruins of Drukgyel Dzong. Paro Valley: A wide, picturesque valley adorned with rice fields and traditional houses, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Ruins of Drukgyel Dzong: Located in the upper Paro Valley, these historic ruins commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan-Mongol forces. On clear days, you can view Bhutan's sacred peak, Mt. Jumolhari. Return to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
Paro – Trek to Tiger’s Nest After a hearty breakfast, embark on a remarkable trek to Tiger’s Nest (Taktshang Goemba). This monastery, perched on a cliff, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding forest. The trek takes about 2 hours for experienced hikers, while beginners might take a bit longer. Tiger’s Nest: Known for its stunning location and historical legend of Guru Rinpoche flying to the site on a tiger's back. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and the sense of achievement upon reaching the top. Return to your hotel for a restful overnight stay after this exhilarating trek.
Paro – Historical Exploration Begin your day with breakfast and set off to explore Bhutan’s historical marvels. Visit Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum. Rinpung Dzong: Originally Rinchen Pung Dzong, this fortress is renowned for its architecture and historical significance. It served as the former National Assembly hall and is now home to monastic bodies and local courts. National Museum: Housed in an ancient watchtower, the museum features collections of ancient weapons, coins, Bhutanese art, and stamps, along with a 3D map of Bhutan. Enjoy a scenic walk back to town, with views of the valley and Ugyen Pelri Palace. Return to your hotel for a soothing overnight stay.
Departure from Paro After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your flight back home.
The customer receives the payment confirmation receipt via email within 15 minutes of successful booking. The confirmation voucher will be released via email in less than 48 hours after customers making deposit. To confirm the booking, 30% deposit of total tour cost will be required (not applied for prepaid service such as flight tickets, train tickets, early bird rate, etc). The remaining balance will need to be paid on the starting day of the tour.
If cancellation are made 15 days before the date of travel then 50.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees If cancellation are made 7 days to 15 days before the date of travel then 75.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees If cancellation are made 0 days to 7 days before the date of travel then 100.0% of deposit will be charged as cancellation fees.
100.0% of total tour cost will have to be paid 0 days before the date of travel.
After the final programs were confirmed from both sides, Tripigen has the right to refuse all the change from the customers. To support for the customers, we will apply the policy below: If the changes are made 15 days before travel date, Tripigen will charge no changing fee and send back the customers the final itinerary. If the changes are made less than 15 days before the travel date, Tripigen has the right to refuse to change. Customers will need to pay the extra for any fees that caused by these changes.
