Itinerary

Phuentsholing : Arrival and Leisure Day On the first day, you will be arriving at Bagdogra where our representative will greet you and pick you up for the drive to Phuentsholing. On your arrival at Phuentsholing, move towards your hotel and complete the formalities. Finish your check-in process and head to your room. Unwind and have some snacks. You will get the whole day for leisure where you can visit the Zangto Pelri Lhakhang on foot. Enjoy overnight stay will be at Phuentsholing.

Phuentsholing : Transfer to Thimphu On the second day after completing your breakfast you will be going to Thimpu which is 6 hr road drive from Phuentsholing. After completing all the immigration formalities, you will be heading to Thimpu. Take a visit to the Kharbandi Gonpa which is another beautiful location in Bhutan. Enjoy scenic drive as you move from Phuentsholing to Thimphu. Cover the picturesque towns of Gedu, Chukha, and Chuzom on your way to Thimphu. On reaching Thimphu, complete the check-in formalities in the hotel followed by overnight staying in Thimpu.

Thimphu : Sightseeing & Drive to Punakha After completing the breakfast, you will be heading for a sightseeing outing in Thimpu. You will be passing by the Dochula passes and reaching the Buddha viewpoint. After that you will be taken to visit Simply Bhutan which is a grand museum here. Post that, you will be taken to Takin Zoo where you can spend some time watching animals in their natural surrounding. You may have some food on your way to recharge for the next half of the day. There will be a drive to Punakha where you will be staying for the night. You may also wish to stop at Druk Wangyal Lhakhang. Arrive at the hotel and get some sleep for the night.

Punakha : Drive to Paro On the fourth morning after completing the breakfast you will be leaving for a small sightseeing tour in Punakha. You will visit the Chimu Lhakhang which is also called the temple of fertility in Punakha. Your next destination will be Paro, and you will be visiting the Royal Botanical Garden of Lamperi en route. On reaching Paro, you spend the afternoon to explore the nearby places and markets.Cover Punakha Dzong on this day as well. Head back to your hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Paro : Hike of Tiger’s Nest On the fifth day, finish your breakfast and get ready to drive to Ramthangkha. You will be going out for a hike to Taktsang which has a cave built around it. The hike is going to be five hours long. Therefore, you need to carry snacks and water on the way. You will be delighted to find the history where Guru Padmasambhava meditated for long hours. Here, you will be staying for the night after the hike. In the morning, you will be visiting Punakha suspension bridge which is the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. Retreat to Paro and visit Tachog Lhakhang. Finish your day’s tour and check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Paro : Sightseeing & Transfer On the sixth day of your Bhutan tour, finish your breakfast early in the morning and get ready for a tour of Paro. You will be leaving for a local sightseeing tour in Paro before transferring to Phuentsholing . You will be visiting National Museum and Paro Dzong by covering the distance on foot. Walk through the oldest wooden bridge to enjoy a rustic feeling. You can spend time exploring local markets in Paro. After the whole day tour, head back to Phuentsholing and overnight staying there before leaving Bhutan and heading home.

Phuentsholing : Departure Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and complete the checkout formalities. After that, proceed to Bagdogra for departure. Our representative will guide your for the transfer and drop. Have a safe journey back home as this marks the end of a wonderful tour.
